First pole in BrF3 by Delgado, but de Souza gets maiden victory!

First day of the R4S F3 Brazil weekend has passed – and if there was one thing to dominate then it was Brazilia. Not only they got a total of six out of nine participants, but also got the biggest teams on the grid – and claimed everything there was to claim.
The Qualifying was a close call between Kemba Racing driver Pedro Delgado and Snow Schatten Racing Team drivers Bernardo Schimitt and Leonardo de Souza. These drivers outpaced the rest of the grid by six tenths of a second, giving finally the Pole to Delgado in front of Schimitt and de Souza.
The Start for Race 1 was quite clean, despite a wild Myles Dixon crashing into Carlos Frau in Turn one there was nothing to judge by the authorities. After all, real Brazilian F3 driver and several times winner Leonardo de Souza got the first ever R4S Brazilian F3 victory in front of team mate Bernardo Schimitt (both Snow Schatten Racing Team) in front of Carlos Frau with Kemba Racing.

All participants were now looking forward to Race 2 and 3 one day after.
