After a thrilling and astonishing catch-up, Matthew Wheeler won the 3rd R4S F3 Race of Macau.
With record setting 19 drivers on the grid, Matthew Wheeler started from fifth on the grid for the 10 laps long Qualifying Race. After a good start, the Australian turned as fifth into the corner and stayed there until mid-race, when he crashed while trying to overtake Maturana in front.
This caused to let him start from mid-field into the points giving feature race. Still, his pace was good and with some luck he ultimately won the Macau GP for the first time.
Congratulations to Wheeler and his team Random Racing
